Kalorama acquired in partnership with Sitar Arts Center and Euclid II acquired in partnership with tenants under DC’s Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act.
Acquired in 2018 when the tenant association assigned their right to purchase to Jubilee Housing, Euclid II is part of a LIHTC development alongside Kalorama, known as “EucKal.” EucKal broke ground in fall of 2022.
The Euclid II property will focus on providing homes for families and will feature Jubilee Housing’s first 4-bedroom units. It will have several green building features and participate in the same community solar program as the Maycroft.

Acquired in 2018 with assistance from program partner Sitar Arts Center, Kalorama is being developed in conjunction with Euclid II as part of the EucKal project. Like Euclid, Kalorama will be focused on providing family housing, with multiple two- and three-bedroom units.
In addition, the ground floor will host operating space for Sitar Next Door, an expansion of Sitar Arts Center. The space will offer arts career training for young adults as well as affordable afterschool and summer art programs, with a recording and sound engineering studio, a S.T.E.A.M. lab, flexible performance space, and new arts learning studios.
