“I cannot stress enough what stable housing did for me. I can now plan my future and take the necessary steps to make it work.” —Anthony, Jubilee Reentry graduate
Jubilee Reentry provides supportive housing and services for people looking to rebuild their lives after incarceration.
Following a successful pilot program, Jubilee’s one-year transitional program was officially launched in 2011. Since then, more than 450 returning citizens have been supported. Residents leave our program employed, with savings, eager to reconnect and contribute to the community, with a local support network committed to their success.
Transitional Housing Program
Jubilee operates two transitional houses, a Men’s House and a Women’s House, which each serve up to ten individuals at a time. Case management and tailored wraparound services support residents on their path to long-term housing stability and well-being.
Supportive Housing Program
Successful graduates of Jubilee’s Reentry Transitional Housing Program, or other specified programs for returning citizens, are eligible for the Reentry Supportive Housing Program. This is a long-term housing program for residents who are making an ongoing commitment to their well-being and want a structured environment.
Building the Continuum
Two new properties under development, Ontario Place and King Emmanuel Baptist Church, will build on the success of Jubilee’s Reentry programs and expand opportunities for returning citizens to rebuild their lives.
